EY Intern Jobs Pune are available for candidates interested in building a career in corporate finance and transaction-related services. EY is hiring an  Intern for its EY-Parthenon Corporate Finance team in Pune.

The selected candidate will work with professionals supporting global EY-Parthenon Corporate Finance practices. The team provides insights and advice to clients on strategies related to raising, investing, preserving and optimizing capital.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates pursuing Chartered Accountancy or management and finance qualifications who want to gain exposure to financial analysis, financial statements, due diligence and valuation-related activities.

As part of the role, the intern will work closely with managers, senior managers and partners while supporting project delivery. Candidates should have strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed studies of financial statements and related schedules.
• Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements based on available information.
• Analyse financial and operational results of target companies.
• Prepare summaries of findings from financial and operational studies.
• Identify key deal issues that may impact the purchase price or deal structure.
• Support the execution of diligence engagements.
• Work closely with Managers, Senior Managers and Partners during project engagements.
• Ensure assigned project components are delivered with quality and within required timelines.
• Help ensure final deliverables meet client requirements and priorities.
• Develop an understanding of basic valuation techniques and related financial analysis.
• Support the analysis and presentation of information using graphs and other relevant formats.
• Communicate project updates and any deviations from timelines to the appropriate project manager and practice offices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Candidates should be pursuing Chartered Accountancy with at least one group cleared, or a Post Graduate in Management / MBA with specialization in Finance.
• Experience: 0–6 months of experience.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
• Industry Knowledge: Exposure to statutory audit, internal audit, financial statement preparation and related areas.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to analyse financial and operational information.
• Presentation Skills: Ability to prepare graphs and contribute to analysing and presenting information.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Candidates should have a strong eye for detail.
• Additional Requirements: Ability to work within established timelines and communicate project updates or deviations effectively.
• Preferred Skills: Project management skills and strong communication and presentation abilities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates pursuing Chartered Accountancy with at least one group cleared can apply.
