About the Role

Labcorp is hiring for Data Analyst Entry in Bangalore, Karnataka. The position is part of the Corporate Operations category and is based at Brigade Twin Towers, Crest Block, Bangalore. The role offers an opportunity to work with data, technology, software development, data integration and analytics applications within a global healthcare organization.

The position involves supporting data preparation and analysis for Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics applications. Candidates will also contribute to development, testing and deployment activities for data engineering solutions. The role requires strong analytical thinking, technical learning ability and an interest in data engineering, automation and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst Entry, the selected candidate may be responsible for:

• Supporting data preparation and analysis for Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics applications.
• Contributing independently to development, testing and deployment of software solutions for the data engineering team.
• Collaborating with team members to understand application requirements and design.
• Contributing to application development activities.
• Working with data integration tools, ETL processes and data pipeline architectures.
• Supporting technology and process automation initiatives.
• Contributing to technology proof-of-concept activities.
• Supporting application optimization initiatives.
• Applying programming knowledge using languages such as Java, Python, C++ or JavaScript.
• Following software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Working with cloud computing technologies including AWS and Azure.

The role also requires candidates to understand functional requirements and translate them into basic technical tasks. Attention to detail and a quality-focused approach are important for completing assignments efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Technology.
• Experience: Current or prior Labcorp Intern experience is required.
• Technical Skills: Java, Python, C++ or JavaScript; AWS or Azure; data integration; ETL; data pipelines.
• Industry Knowledge: Data engineering, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and software development.
• Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, logical thinking, communication, attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Additional Requirements: Willingness to learn, follow efficient processes and contribute to automation and technology initiatives.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science and six months of experience working with data integration tools, ETL processes and data pipeline architectures.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology is required.
• Current or prior Labcorp Intern experience is required.
• Candidates should have knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++ or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure is preferred.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline architectures is preferred.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science is a preferred qualification.
• Six months of relevant data integration or ETL experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills are expected.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
