Job Summary
As an Analyst, Credit Analysis at Northern Trust, you will play a vital role in evaluating the creditworthiness of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), trusts, privately held businesses, non-profits, and commercial real estate entities seeking tailored credit solutions.
You will analyze financial statements, risk profiles, and collateral structures to provide insights that guide personalized lending decisions. In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Credit Evaluation – Analyze client financial statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and credit reports to assess financial health and repayment capacity.
Credit Memo Preparation – Draft detailed reports with recommendations that influence lending and investment decisions.
Borrower Monitoring – Conduct periodic reviews of existing borrowers to track performance, identify risks, and flag early warning signals.
Client Collaboration – Partner with relationship managers and global teams to design tailored credit solutions that suit diverse client portfolios.
Compliance & Risk – Ensure all analyses and approvals follow Northern Trust’s risk policies, compliance standards, and process guidelines.
