Key Responsibilities
Work on end-to-end data science projects from data gathering and preprocessing to model deployment.
Apply machine learning and statistical models to solve real-world business problems in supply chain, manufacturing, customer experience, and mobility.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and business leaders.
Build predictive and prescriptive models that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
Implement Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI techniques to create scalable solutions.
Work with cloud-based platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure) for large-scale data storage, analysis, and model deployment.
Prepare dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies.
Continuously research and integrate emerging technologies to improve data science capabilities at Ford.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and mathematical modeling.
Experience working with structured and unstructured data at scale.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to present insights clearly using visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to NLP, Generative AI, and large language models (LLMs).
Knowledge of supply chain analytics and automotive industry datasets.
Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks.
Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps practices for model deployment.
