Key Responsibilities
As an AIML Incubator Intern, you will be involved in research, prototyping, and implementing advanced AI solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting research and practical experiments with cutting-edge generative AI models such as LLMs, diffusion models, and multimodal synthesis models for images, audio, and video.
Evaluating and exploring emerging AI frameworks, tools, and libraries to identify those best suited for addressing real-world business challenges.
Designing and integrating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to significantly improve contextual accuracy in generative model outputs.
Applying prompt engineering strategies to optimize the performance of large language models across a variety of tasks and problem domains.
Developing proof-of-concept applications to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed AI-driven solutions.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to refine prototypes, collect feedback, and make necessary enhancements.
Building scalable deployment architectures using platforms like Microsoft Azure while considering factors such as efficiency, cost, and long-term maintainability.
Conducting benchmarking exercises to compare AI/ML services across leading cloud providers, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, focusing on speed, performance, and cost optimization.
Preparing structured technical documentation, performance reports, and engaging demo presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Staying consistently updated on the latest advancements in AI, automation, and deep learning, and bringing fresh ideas to improve existing processes and models.
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
Proficiency in Python programming, with experience using libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn.
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
Good understanding of generative AI concepts, including large language models, diffusion techniques, and retrieval-augmented systems.
Basic knowledge of deploying models in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a focus on quality and deadlines.
Clear and effective communication skills for presenting technical content to varied audiences.
A genuine passion for research in AI/ML, automation, and innovative technologies.
Strong documentation skills for recording experimental results, model evaluations, and recommendations.
Curiosity and adaptability to quickly learn new frameworks, libraries, and emerging AI trends.

Experience with prompt tuning or advanced prompt engineering for better LLM performance.
Familiarity with containerization and deployment tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or MLflow.
Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) pipelines, including libraries like Hugging Face Transformers.
Understanding of audio, video, or image synthesis models and their practical applications.
Exposure to building data pipelines, ETL processes, and end-to-end ML workflows.
