Key Responsibilities
Develop scalable analytics frameworks to support the data needs of Uber’s Customer Obsession Platform, ensuring seamless integration across multiple services.
Collaborate with global teams including product managers, software engineers, data analysts, and operational teams to design and implement impactful solutions.
Manage the full experimentation cycle—design A/B tests, run statistical analyses, interpret results, and guide products through full global rollout stages.
Ensure high data quality and reliability by creating validation mechanisms, monitoring pipelines, and resolving inconsistencies.
Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines and dashboards that track key business and customer metrics.
Identify opportunities for optimization and create innovative data products that solve pressing customer and business challenges.
Translate raw data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations that align with company goals.
Support long-term product monitoring by defining success metrics, setting up health checks, and ensuring sustainable performance.
Communicate findings proactively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between data analysis and product strategies.
Document methodologies and maintain structured data processes to improve operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
Expertise in SQL with the ability to write efficient, complex queries for large datasets.
Hands-on experience with Python or R for statistical analysis, data wrangling, and automation tasks.
Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, A/B testing frameworks, and experimentation design.
Ability to handle, clean, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication skills to simplify complex data concepts for a variety of stakeholders.
