Key Responsibilities

Support the Asset Based Finance (ABF) team in managing structured finance transactions.
Assist Deal Analysts in analyzing Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) investments.
Update Investment Committee (IC) memos and prepare closing documents.
Conduct pre-deal due diligence and collateral stratification using Python.
Build and update cashflow models; conduct scenario testing for risk evaluation.
Track asset performance and generate sector-level reports.
Create one-pagers and collateral-level summaries for deal monitoring.
Monitor key financial covenants and deal-level performance indicators.
Respond to client and compliance requirements as per investor guidelines.
Use tools like Intex, Tableau, Python, and Sigma for analysis and visualization.

Required Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of Asset-Backed Finance and financial instruments.
Knowledge of Python for data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to interpret financial reports and model cashflows.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Self-driven with the ability to work independently or in a team.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Willingness to work in the 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM IST shift.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to structured finance or ABS during academic projects or internships.
Working knowledge of tools like Tableau, Street Diligence, Sigma, or Intex.
Understanding of financial covenants and risk monitoring.
Experience with creating investment decks or IC memos (academic or internship-based).
Interest in macroeconomic analysis and portfolio impact assessments.
Familiarity with legal terms in credit agreements or finance documentation.
Strong visualization and reporting skills using BI tools.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Passion for finance and structured investment analytics.
Enthusiasm to learn and grow in the investment management domain.
