What the Candidate Will Do
- Develop test strategies, plans, scenarios, test cases and requirement traceability documentation.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system and end-to-end testing for Pega applications.
- Validate Pega workflows, case types, stages, SLAs, routing, correspondence and business rules.
- Build and maintain automated regression tests using Pega Scenario Testing, Selenium or equivalent tools.
- Test REST and SOAP integrations while performing database and application data validation.
- Manage defects, support SIT/UAT activities, validate fixes and contribute to release quality activities.
Skills Candidates Should Have
- Strong software testing and quality assurance experience.
- Experience testing Pega applications, including case management, workflows and SLAs.
- Knowledge of Pega unit testing and Pega Scenario Testing.
- Understanding of REST/SOAP API testing and tools such as Postman, SoapUI or ReadyAPI.
- SQL and database validation knowledge.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile/Scrum practices.
