Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain high-quality Python-based applications.
Develop and manage scalable data processing pipelines used in machine learning workflows.
Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
Participate actively in the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Write modular, efficient, and maintainable code that aligns with best practices.
Conduct and participate in code reviews to uphold quality and performance standards.
Debug application issues and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
Keep up to date with Python trends, frameworks, and performance enhancements.
Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure optimal data access and storage.
Support front-end teams and perform light UI integration using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when required.
Required Skills
1–3 years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong understanding of Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Dask, and SciPy.
Experience using Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows.
Familiarity with natural language processing libraries like spaCy and NLTK.
Proficiency in machine learning tools including scikit-learn and PyTorch.
Solid database experience in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Basic understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Python web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or Pyramid.
Understanding of cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience working with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Prior experience in RESTful API design and microservices-based architecture.
Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
Contributions to open-source Python projects or active engagement in developer communities.
Knowledge of data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Plotly, or Seaborn.
Understanding of data security and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based environments.
Working knowledge of caching systems like Redis or Memcached.
