As an Interim Intern_OneIT at Qualcomm, you will work alongside experienced IT professionals and engineers to solve real-world challenges. During this internship, you will have the opportunity to contribute to essential projects while learning on the job.
Collaborate with OneIT teams to support enterprise-level systems and applications.
Assist in the implementation of new tools and frameworks across various departments.
Support integration and troubleshooting of system-level functionalities.
Document technical procedures, workflows, and program specifications.
Analyze IT and business data to help optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
Contribute to security initiatives involving network, application, and infrastructure protection.
Participate in vendor coordination and project planning activities.
Help maintain databases, application services, and server infrastructure.
Provide support for software testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
Learn and contribute to project lifecycle phases—requirements gathering to final delivery.
Required Skills
To qualify for this internship, applicants should demonstrate academic and technical strength, along with curiosity and enthusiasm to learn.
Strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, or information technology.
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
Familiarity with operating systems: Android, Linux, Windows, and Chrome.
Basic knowledge of databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Effective communication skills—both verbal and written.
