We are currently hiring for the position of Executive – Data and Control Analyst within our Fixed Income and Currencies COO function. Based in Gurugram, India, this is a permanent, full-time, mid-level role designed for professionals with a strong foundation in data analysis, regulatory reporting, and financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

As an Executive – Data and Control Analyst at Macquarie, you will take on a critical role within the Fixed Income and Currencies COO team. Your day-to-day work will contribute to maintaining operational efficiency, reducing risks, and ensuring compliance with international regulatory standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing controls and processes that ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

  • Performing data analysis on large, complex datasets related to FX and interest rate derivative products.

  • Supporting transaction reporting activities and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

  • Identifying inconsistencies or anomalies in transaction data and implementing solutions for data integrity.

  • Partnering with business stakeholders to deliver insightful reports, dashboards, and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.

  • Enhancing existing frameworks for regulatory reporting, risk management, and compliance monitoring.

  • Building a strong working knowledge of Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) products, including derivatives, and staying updated with regulatory developments.

  • Working closely with global teams to ensure seamless reporting processes and operational alignment.

  • Identifying opportunities to automate manual tasks, improve data workflows, and introduce process efficiencies.

  • Supporting the development of policies, procedures, and documentation to strengthen the control environment.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise in data management, deep knowledge of financial markets, and excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong background in data analysis, financial markets, and regulatory reporting. Candidates should be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

  • 4–8 years of experience in financial services, with exposure to regulatory or transaction reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

  • Proficiency in working with large volumes of financial data and ensuring accuracy in reporting.

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income and Currencies markets, including FX and derivatives.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders globally.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.

  • Educational background in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related fields.

Preferred Skills
