Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Scientist (Generative AI), you will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered classification and matching systems on Databricks. Your responsibilities include:
AI Pipeline Development: Build end-to-end AI pipelines for product classification, fuzzy matching, and deduplication using LLMs, RAG, and Databricks workflows.
Scalable Solutions: Develop reproducible AI solutions within Databricks notebooks and job clusters, leveraging Delta Lake, MLflow, and Unity Catalog.
RAG Workflows: Engineer Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines using vector search integrated with Python-based matching logic.
Agent-Based Automation: Create automation pipelines combining rule-driven approaches and GenAI agents for anomaly detection, compliance checks, and data harmonization.
Explainability & Governance: Implement explainable AI frameworks, audit trails, and governance-first workflows for enterprise-level MDM requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with data engineers, BI teams, and product owners to integrate GenAI outputs into downstream systems.
Modular System Design: Contribute to long-term scalable, maintainable system designs and comprehensive documentation.
This role requires hands-on expertise in generative AI, large-scale AI workflows, and data pipeline optimization in enterprise environments.
Required Skills
Candidates should have a strong foundation in AI theory and practical application, including:
Databricks Expertise: Experience with Delta Lake, MLflow, DBFS, and Databricks Jobs & Workflows.
Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for building scalable AI pipelines and workflows.
Generative AI Experience: Hands-on work with LLMs like OpenAI GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
Vector Databases: Knowledge of FAISS or Chroma and prompt engineering for classification and retrieval.
MDM Familiarity: Exposure to platforms like Stibo STEP and understanding of data harmonization, deduplication, and entity matching.
Explainable AI: Experience with frameworks such as SHAP or LIME and AI audit tooling.
Operational Excellence: Ability to design robust, reproducible pipelines focused on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
This role blends technical expertise with problem-solving and hands-on experience in developing next-generation AI solutions.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of agentic AI architectures and multi-agent orchestration.
