The Data Analyst at KONE plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of business data across critical processes such as Cash & Bank, Purchase to Pay, Contract Administration, Master Data, Billing, and Reporting. The position provides exposure to process improvement initiatives and offers opportunities to contribute to high-quality reporting and harmonization activities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and administer data for processes such as Cash & Bank, Purchase to Pay, Contract Administration, Master Data, Billing, Back Reporting, and Reporting.
Execute data input or modifications received from Front Officers upon approval from the Process Manager.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all data entries to meet business rules and KPIs.
Register and process incoming and outgoing documents on time, maintaining proper logs and documentation.
Perform daily reconciliations and corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
Communicate with local supervisors and front officers for additional information or clarification.
Log issues, escalate to team leaders when necessary, and ensure process KPIs are consistently met.
Support process improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings, process analysis, and documentation activities.
Act as a super user at the process or application level within the team.
Deliver accurate input for proper reporting, ensuring all reporting KPIs meet high-quality standards.
Take responsibility for complex processing activities and ensure compliance with company business rules.
Collaborate across teams to implement harmonization activities that improve operational efficiency.
Perform additional tasks assigned by team leaders or managers related to reporting and SSC processes.
Required Skills
Strong data management and analytical skills, with an ability to handle large datasets accurately.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data-related tools for data processing and reporting.
Attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in data entries.
Understanding of business processes such as Cash & Bank, Purchase to Pay, Contract Administration, Master Data, Billing, and Reporting.
Strong communication skills to interact with team members, local supervisors, and front officers.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Basic understanding of process KPIs and reporting standards.
Willingness to learn new tools and applications to support process improvements.
Problem-solving skills to identify and escalate issues effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and actively contribute to process improvements.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Exposure to process automation or workflow tools.
Prior experience in a shared service center (SSC) environment.
Knowledge of reporting and harmonization initiatives across global business processes.
Certification in Data Analytics, SQL, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
