Key Responsibilities
As the Enterprise Warranty Excellence Data Analyst, you will be an essential part of the Warranty Enterprise Center of Excellence (COE), driving data-driven insights that improve warranty processes and outcomes. Your role will cover the full data science lifecycle — from data acquisition to analysis, insight communication, and actionable recommendations.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Role Overview
Business Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple product business units (PBUs) to collect and coordinate analytical reporting needs. Ensure a clear understanding of business goals to translate them into effective data solutions.
Report Development: Create and maintain regular warranty data analysis reports and dashboards that provide visibility into warranty performance metrics, costs, and trends. Ensure reports are accurate, relevant, and timely.
Data Quality & Validation: Monitor the performance of reports and dashboards rigorously, conducting data validation exercises to identify and resolve data integrity issues promptly, ensuring reliable decision-making.
User Support & Training: Provide business intelligence system user support by delivering training sessions and resolving user queries. Empower end-users to maximize the value of BI tools like Power BI.
Process Automation: Drive efficiency by eliminating manual reporting efforts through system automation, primarily targeting Product Management teams. Use tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps to develop workflows and business applications.
Data Acquisition & Management: Extract data from primary and secondary sources, manage databases, and ensure secure handling of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.
Trend & Pattern Analysis: Analyze complex warranty datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential early indicators of warranty issues. Support proactive measures that reduce costs and improve product quality.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities for improving data processes and reporting systems. Help evolve ad-hoc requests into standardized reports to enhance operational efficiency.
SharePoint Administration: Manage and administer SharePoint sites to support team collaboration and data sharing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with peers and other teams to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned to continually improve the department’s output and business processes.

Experience in scenario modeling, predictive analytics, and cost modeling related to warranty data.
Familiarity with metrics and scorecard development to measure warranty performance.
Knowledge of business intelligence tools beyond Power BI, such as Tableau or SQL-based reporting.
Prior exposure to SharePoint site administration and Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps).
Strong collaboration skills and experience working across multiple business units.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 18 months in your current role.
FY24 performance rating must be “Consistently Meets Expectations” or higher.
Employees under active warning letters or performance improvement plans (PIP) for the last six months are not eligible.
Candidates must meet the required education and qualification background for this role.
Employees undergoing company-sponsored certification programs or fresh graduates/postgraduates during training periods are not eligible to apply.
