Key Responsibilities
• Understand index concepts and index calculation methodologies
• Validate and ensure accuracy of financial data received from multiple sources
• Perform data quality checks and ensure correct storage in databases
• Ensure timely and high-quality production of financial and market data
• Respond to data-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor market events and corporate actions impacting indices and ETFs
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve data and operational issues
• Work closely with cross-functional global teams to improve workflows
• Execute automated and semi-automated data validation checks
• Maintain and document methods of work (MOWs) and best practices
Required Skills
• Basic understanding of equities and capital markets
• Knowledge of Index, ETF, and Corporate Actions concepts
• Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, data analysis)
• Basic SQL query writing skills
• Ability to work with large financial datasets
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
• Advanced Excel, VBA, or automation exposure
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases
• Understanding of financial market operations
• Prior internship or operations experience in finance
