Key Responsibilities
Develop a strong working knowledge of EY Global Independence policies and firm-level independence concepts.
Review and validate submissions, documents, and requests from client-serving and audit teams.
Perform reconciliation, research, and analysis using EY Independence and financial tools.
Update EY internal systems and databases with accurate, compliant information after review.
Communicate with project managers and global stakeholders to follow up on pending responses.
Conduct secondary research using internal and external databases to support independence assessments.
Identify discrepancies across systems and assist in resolving data inconsistencies.
Actively participate in knowledge-sharing and calibration sessions within the team.
Ensure compliance with defined KPIs, quality benchmarks, and turnaround timelines.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of auditor independence and risk management concepts.
Ability to interpret company structures, ownership models, and entity relationships.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to professional services, audit, compliance, or risk management roles.
Experience handling client interactions or global stakeholders.
Knowledge of internal compliance systems or financial databases.
