We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the position of Engineer I – Data Science & Analytics to join our growing team in Bangalore. Batch: 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 graduates eligible
Experience: 0–2 Years (Freshers with internship or academic experience in data science can apply)
Salary: As per Industry Standards
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Computer Science Engineering with coursework or expertise in Data Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics
Certifications: Not mandatory, but certifications in Python, Power BI, or Machine Learning are advantageous
Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with engineering and technical teams to extract and interpret large datasets from aircraft engines and components
Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI for data visualization and operational monitoring
Develop and implement machine learning models for tasks such as anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and statistical forecasting
Analyze historical and real-time data from sensors, test facilities, and manufacturing processes to generate actionable insights
Support decision-making by providing analytical reports and visual outputs to engineering leaders
Document model development, workflows, assumptions, and results clearly for engineering and business stakeholders
Participate in project planning and tracking to ensure milestones are achieved according to quality standards and timelines
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data collection, processing, and modeling techniques
Required Skills
Strong programming skills in Python with knowledge of libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Good understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and data mining techniques
Familiarity with data preprocessing steps such as cleaning, normalization, transformation, and feature engineering
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to understand engineering datasets and translate them into meaningful insights
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional team environment
Preferred Skills
Exposure to aerospace engineering data, including sensor readings, engine performance metrics, or test rig data
Knowledge of time-series modeling, regression analysis, and classification models
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases for data storage and querying
Understanding of engineering simulation tools or design software is a plus
Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing analytics environments
