We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our growing operations team at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in Hyderabad. This role involves supporting the ICE Data Derivative (IDD) team by analyzing bonds and credit default swap (CDS) pricing data from global traders. The position plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing data quality, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of market data used across ICE’s global financial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance bonds and CDS pricing data for the derivatives business.
- Set up securities and manage reference data required for accurate pricing.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation or improvements.
- Navigate internal applications and tools essential for operational requirements.
- Maintain awareness of basic data terms, definitions, and market structures.
- Interact regularly with external contacts to procure accurate market data.
- Detect and report data quality issues, suggesting both procedural and technical fixes.
- Collaborate with content, quality, and product teams to improve data accuracy.
- Support client requests by resolving data challenges effectively.
- Ensure all deliverables meet ICE’s global data standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and manage market data.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
- High attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with VBA and Macros for process automation (a plus).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
