Key Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer at Barco, your role will extend beyond writing code—you will contribute directly to the development of solutions that help operators, businesses, and healthcare providers make faster and better decisions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing, coding, and testing high-quality software applications using AngularJS, ReactJS, or VueJS.
Building scalable applications and contributing to prototype assemblies for testing and feedback.
Debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing code to improve performance and reliability.
Actively participating in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC)—from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment.
Leveraging cloud technologies (AWS and Microsoft Azure) to build robust applications.
Working with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and HelmCharts.
Implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including testers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and designers.
Exploring and learning automation testing frameworks like Python, Selenium, Cucumber, and Robot Framework to improve product quality.
Contributing ideas for product innovation and identifying potential improvements in current systems.
