Job Description / Highlights
Indo-MIM is seeking passionate Design Engineers with expertise in mould, part, and fixture design for its high-precision manufacturing division. Candidates should be able to handle the complete design process from feasibility to final tooling documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare feasibility studies for moulds, jigs, and fixtures.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models using Pro-E/Creo or SolidWorks.
- Work on Hot Runner, Cold Runner, 2-Plate, and 3-Plate mould designs.
- Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) analysis.
- Maintain tooling document control (DCN & ECN).
- Collaborate with the production and tool room teams for implementation.
- Use AutoCAD, gauges, and other measurement instruments for design validation.
- Prior shop floor experience in tool making or maintenance is a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Strong knowledge of Pro-E/Creo, SolidWorks, and GD&T.
- Diploma/Post Diploma in Tool Design or equivalent.
- Excellent understanding of injection mould design and manufacturing processes.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
- Freshers and experienced candidates (0–5 years) are welcome to apply.
