Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
Analyze business requirements to develop robust, scalable, and secure data solutions.
Collaborate with data scientists to support AI/ML workloads and data-driven decisions.
Implement and optimize data ingestion and transformation from various data sources.
Manage Azure storage solutions such as Data Lake Gen2, Blob Storage, and Synapse Analytics.
Develop project plans, manage resources, and deliver incremental solutions.
Produce technical documentation, prototypes, and proof of concepts.
Ensure the security, performance, and compliance of all deployed solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest technology trends in data engineering and analytics.
Engage with business and IT stakeholders to define and implement customer-centric solutions.
Required Skills
2–5 years hands-on experience in Azure data engineering.
Strong knowledge in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL.
Proficiency in programming with PySpark, Python, R, and SparkSQL.
Experience managing and using Azure Data Lake Storage, Blob Storage, and Synapse.
Expertise in SQL (HANA, MS SQL) for querying and data manipulation.
Familiarity with Data Warehousing principles and data modeling.
Strong experience with version control tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on in data quality, lineage tracking, and performance optimization.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
Clear written and verbal communication to work with global teams.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to Amazon EMR, AWS Redshift, or other cloud environments.
Experience using Data Science tools like Dataiku, Azure ML Studio, or Amazon SageMaker.
Visualization and dashboarding using Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience in mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews.
Background in statistics or machine learning implementation.
Working knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Certifications in Microsoft Azure Data Engineering or related fields.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to ETL optimization and metadata-driven pipeline design.
