Key Responsibilities
As a BI Associate (TCF), you will join the Information Technology team and play a pivotal role in supporting business operations through effective reporting, dashboarding, and data analysis. This is a client-facing role that demands precision, responsiveness, and collaboration.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Engage with internal stakeholders and clients on day-to-day reporting tasks and operational requirements.
Prepare and deliver polished PowerPoint presentations for weekly/monthly reviews.
Design and maintain real-time interactive dashboards using Excel and other tools.
Act as the first point of contact for resolving basic client escalations and reporting discrepancies.
Provide data-backed recommendations that support strategic business decisions.
Handle ad-hoc data requests by consolidating and cleaning information from multiple sources.
Collaborate with various teams (ops, HR, finance, etc.) to collect relevant metrics and reports.
Maintain accuracy and timeliness in all Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive client and internal data.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives through automation or template optimization.
Required Skills
To succeed as a BI Associate, you need a strong foundation in Excel-based reporting, excellent communication abilities, and a structured approach to solving problems.
Essential skills include:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, etc.).
Solid understanding of MIS reporting principles.
Experience in preparing impactful PowerPoint presentations.
Strong written and spoken communication for direct client interactions.
Analytical thinking with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with data cleansing and organizing large datasets.
Time management and multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments.
Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Fast learner and adaptability to new tools and software platforms.
Preferred Skills
While not mandatory, having the following skills or experiences will give your application a competitive edge:
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
Basic knowledge of SQL or database querying for generating reports.
Exposure to macros, VBA, or RPA for report automation.
Prior experience in BPO, shared services, or ITES environments.
Understanding of key business metrics (e.g., TAT, SLA, NPS, CSAT).
Ability to translate complex data into business insights.
Familiarity with agile or project-based working environments.
Experience using ticketing tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Zoho.
Training or certification in BI/reporting-related technologies.
Ability to work in cross-functional global teams.
