Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries and ETL procedures to support data extraction and transformation needs.
Write Python scripts for data analysis, automation, and customized reporting solutions.
Conduct in-depth data exploration to detect anomalies, trends, and patterns that inform strategic business decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand functional requirements and convert them into efficient technical implementations.
Ensure data integrity and maintain data quality across multiple systems and platforms.
Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense for business insights.
Lead the adoption of best practices in data governance and data analysis methodologies.
Evaluate new AI/ML tools and techniques for their applicability in enhancing data analytics capabilities.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability building.
Stay updated with the latest in data analytics trends, tools, and industry innovations.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL for developing complex queries, views, and procedures.
Strong programming skills in Python with a focus on data analysis, scripting, and automation.
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
Solid understanding of data structures, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing principles.
Ability to work with large datasets, clean data, and derive meaningful insights.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong grasp of data quality standards and compliance in a regulated industry.
Demonstrated ability to document technical processes and workflows clearly.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of AI/ML techniques including predictive modeling, NLP, and machine learning algorithms.
Practical experience in implementing AI/ML projects for data analytics is a significant plus.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for data processing.
Understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance in the financial sector.
Familiarity with agile methodologies in software and data product development.
Experience working in financial services or fintech environments.
Understanding of business intelligence and operational reporting frameworks.
Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
Comfort with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
Certifications in data analytics or machine learning will be considered an advantage.
