Key Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Caterpillar, you will be a key driver in identifying business improvement opportunities and delivering actionable insights that shape strategic decisions. Your core responsibilities will include:
Business Opportunity Identification: Work closely with business units to identify, size, and prioritize opportunities where analytics can create measurable improvements in operations and performance.
Power BI Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards that present data in clear, actionable formats for stakeholders.
Client and Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted analytics partner for internal clients, managing relationships to ensure expectations are understood and project deliverables are achieved.
Performance Monitoring: Track and communicate key performance metrics (KPIs) and operational indicators, ensuring that management teams have timely access to relevant data.
Analytics Project Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and support of business analytics initiatives from concept to completion.
Data Analysis & Statistical Interpretation: Apply statistical tools and business intelligence methodologies to evaluate business performance, detect patterns, and recommend improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with technology teams, manufacturing specialists, and digital transformation groups to ensure analytics solutions are fully integrated into operations.
