Key Responsibilities
Design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Translate business requirements into meaningful reporting solutions by identifying trends, KPIs, and insights that enable informed decision-making.
Build automated reporting processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure timeliness in data delivery.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across functions to ensure the accuracy and relevance of data incorporated into reporting.
Maintain and update existing dashboards and reports to reflect evolving business needs while ensuring standardization and consistency.
Support risk and control measures by embedding data validation checks and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Take ownership of report template releases, testing, and related administrative tasks to ensure smooth execution.
Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to leadership, helping shape business strategy and risk management decisions.
Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Continuously seek opportunities to innovate reporting practices, explore emerging technologies, and strengthen Barclays’ data-driven culture.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in SQL for querying, transforming, and validating datasets.
Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools to design interactive dashboards and reports.
Proficiency in Python or other programming languages for advanced analytics, automation, and process improvement.
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting standards.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.
Effective communication skills to present data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and controls within a banking or financial services environment.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup, balancing collaborative onsite engagement with independent remote tasks.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience in a financial services or banking domain.
Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements.
Exposure to data governance practices and data quality management.
Experience in Agile environments and working with cross-functional teams.
Certifications in SQL, Tableau, or Python are an added advantage.
