We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Analyst, Data Analysis to join TransUnion’s growing team in Chennai. This hybrid position requires working from the office at least two days a week, allowing a balance of flexibility and collaboration.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, develop actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making. The position is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in financial services, who are eager to expand their expertise in business intelligence, credit risk, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities
As an Analyst, Data Analysis at TransUnion, your primary responsibilities will include:
Data Analysis & Reporting: Work with large financial and transactional datasets to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and business opportunities. Deliver actionable insights that influence senior stakeholders, including directors and product managers.
Business Intelligence Support: Assist in developing analyses at both market and entity levels to support strategic initiatives, performance improvement, and growth opportunities.
Cohort & Segmentation Analysis: Conduct cohort analysis to better understand user behavior, product performance, and customer experience. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize engagement and retention.
Data Accuracy & Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of internal and third-party data by implementing robust validation and quality checks.
Dashboard Development: Build and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports tracking key metrics such as customer lifetime value, churn, fraud, and credit risk.
Research & Benchmarking: Support studies and research projects, including market benchmarking, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies in data science and analytics, ensuring that the company remains ahead of industry trends.

Required Skills

Strong Analytical Skills: Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
SQL Proficiency: Strong coding skills in SQL, with the ability to query, manipulate, and analyze large databases.

Preferred Skills
Experience in a financial services or fintech environment.
