Role Overview
We are looking for a Network Operations Center Analyst to join our team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and supporting Syniverse Global Networks, Products, Platforms, and Services. This role involves Level 1 troubleshooting, providing customer support, and ensuring network performance within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customer communications, trouble tickets, and escalations.
Monitor network traffic, performance, and configuration using surveillance tools.
Analyze alerts, troubleshoot incidents, and escalate issues as per NOC processes.
Maintain shift logs, provide handovers, and prepare shift reports.
Support vendors and service providers in isolating and resolving incidents.
Follow IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
Ensure compliance with security, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Required Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Basic understanding of the OSI model and networking concepts.
Familiarity with Network Monitoring Tools such as HP Network Node Manager, NetCool, etc.
Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
Prior experience in network monitoring or IT support.
Networking and application certifications (CCNA, JNCIA, CCENT, ITIL v3).
Flexibility to work in shifts, providing 24×7 coverage.
