Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer I at Uplight, you will play an important role in supporting the EV Account Management and Operations Teams while working on projects that drive energy efficiency. Your primary responsibilities include:
Data Analysis and Management: Collect, analyze, and organize data related to EV charging devices, charging sessions, and customer behavior. You will collaborate with utility partners and internal teams to ensure the data is accurate, consistent, and valuable for decision-making.
Client Ticket Resolution: Respond to client tickets revolving around program enrollment, data collection, and report generation. Help refine ticket resolution processes to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Visualization and Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights and trends from collected data. Provide key stakeholders with visualizations that support program strategies and business decisions.
Problem Solving and Critical Thinking: Work closely with teams to identify issues, analyze trends, and propose solutions that optimize EV programs and products. Contribute to refining processes that improve customer and client outcomes.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with Uplight engineering teams, account managers, and utility clients to design data-driven tools and enhance customer experiences. Ensure solutions align with Uplight’s mission of sustainability and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Support strategies for expanding and optimizing EV-related programs based on insights derived from data analytics. Participate in team discussions, bring new ideas, and contribute to the company’s broader sustainability mission.
Required Skills
The successful candidate for this role will possess:
Analytical and Technical Skills: Strong quantitative skills and the ability to analyze large datasets with accuracy. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools is essential.
Independent Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
