We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join our dynamic team at Wipro. This role focuses on financial product research, data analysis, MIS reporting, and supporting operational excellence for the US market. The selected candidate will work with cross-functional teams to manage static data, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and drive process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Research and analyze data for multiple product classes, including term loans, corporate bonds, asset-backed securities, equities, derivatives, and structured products.
Perform reconciliation tasks related to static and position details and ensure alignment with IBOR and general ledger bookings.
Support monthly MIS reporting, data governance, and process improvement projects to ensure operational efficiency.
Collaborate with onshore and offshore stakeholders for issue resolution, escalation management, and client requirements.
Use analytical tools such as Bloomberg, Axiom, and Markit to verify data accuracy and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
Maintain a deep understanding of corporate structures, entity relations, and rating agency implications for financial products.
Contribute to risk management and process optimization while ensuring adherence to all compliance controls.
Handle middle and back-office operations to ensure smooth and accurate execution of daily business activities.
Required Skills
Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros), PowerPoint, Word, and exposure to Bloomberg, Axiom, and Markit.
Analytical Abilities: Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and research skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Work Environment: Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy within deadlines.
Additional Requirement: Flexibility to work in night shifts to support US market operations.
Preferred Skills
Understanding of financial markets, structured products, and static data management.
Familiarity with IBOR reconciliation, ledger entries, and fund requirement processes.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
