Key Responsibilities
Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to support business decision-making.
Identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities through detailed data investigations.
Design and maintain scalable, automated data pipelines for efficient data flow across teams.
Create interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide actionable insights to various departments through reports and presentations.
Ensure data accuracy, governance, and cleanliness across all analytics operations.
Stay updated with modern data tools, practices, and analytics frameworks to optimize performance.
Participate in strategy meetings to provide data-driven recommendations aligned with business goals.
Support in building a strong analytics culture across departments through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced) for data analysis and reporting.
Strong command over SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and optimization.
Experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
Data extraction from various sources including APIs, databases, and flat files.
Knowledge of data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation techniques.
Familiarity with data pipeline concepts, including ETL processes (even basic).
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of data governance and quality assurance practices.
Strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights to non-technical teams.
Ability to manage tasks independently, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to Python or R for data modeling, automation, and statistical analysis.
Understanding of data warehousing architecture and operations.
Familiarity with business metrics and KPIs in the insurance or fintech industry.
Ability to create hypotheses and validate them with appropriate statistical methods.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Operations).
Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete datasets.
Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
Awareness of the latest data trends, tools, and analytics best practices.
Certifications in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Data Science courses (Udemy, Coursera, etc.).
