Key Responsibilities
Acquire, update, and maintain high-quality alternative assets data using internal tools and software.
Conduct in-depth web-based research to collect company information, deals, investments, valuations, and other critical data points.
Interpret company filings, deal information, and structured/unstructured data accurately.
Update Preqin’s databases with key financial information, statistics, and analysis for client use.
Support bulk updates, backfills, data improvement initiatives, and process optimization projects.
Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for research decisions.
Collaborate with global teams to enhance data offerings to clients.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering.
Proficiency in English with excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of financial markets and a strong curiosity about finance.
Experience using Microsoft tools such as SQL, Excel, SharePoint, Office 365, and Copilot.
Ability to learn new tools, workflows, and datasets quickly.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Python or scripting for data processing.
High-level understanding of LLMs and AI Agents.
Internship or project experience in data management or analytics.
