As a Data Analyst, you will manage data imports, troubleshoot errors using SQL and Python, and support clients with grant cycle tasks on Blackbaud’s platforms.

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at Blackbaud, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and internal teams by ensuring data accuracy, operational efficiency, and timely task execution. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and Prioritizing Tasks: Handle a ticket queue effectively, ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Data Import & Error Resolution: Perform data imports into ResearchPoint, troubleshoot errors using queries and Python scripts, and ensure error-free data processing.
Grant Cycle Management: Execute grant cycle tasks within Award Management based on client requests, ensuring seamless workflows and accurate data handling.
Client Communication: Interact directly with clients, stakeholders, and vendors via calls and emails to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.
Operational Accuracy: Review and process incoming forms and client requests with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client expectations.
Workflow Collaboration: Partner with leadership and internal teams to improve workflows, optimize efficiency, and enhance client satisfaction.
Tracking & Reporting: Maintain clear records of pending deliverables, escalate concerns promptly, and ensure proactive communication with stakeholders.
This role is dynamic and requires flexibility, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to client success.
Required Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates should bring a strong mix of technical expertise and communication abilities. Key skills include:
Experience in Data Operations: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, imports, and exception handling.
SQL Proficiency: Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation.
Python Knowledge: Exposure to Python scripting for data exception analysis and automation.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English for client-facing interactions, requirement gathering, and professional correspondence.
Attention to Detail: Ability to review and process large volumes of data with high accuracy.
Time Management: Capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
Technical Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Jotform, and Google Calendar.
Work Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including late evenings IST, to support US-based clients.
Preferred Skills
